Kevin Fugiel a.k.a. Mr. Oneness

Blue 2002 Horizon 2007

Mr. Oneness HimselfBass player/songwriter extraordinaire. Kevin has been involved with Beckament since the 1999 CD Very Rough Mix. Although not formally joining Beckament until 2002, Kevin would bounce ideas off the band (and vice versa) and jam various instruments during the weekend jam sessions (where quite a few Beckament songs got their start - or at least their first audience).

Kevin has studio experience in both Chicago and Denver (he used to own his own studio), recording a multitude of indie artists and groups including Wesley Willis.

His solo album Pulsomnium (which he recorded while we were recording our album Horizon) is available at CD Baby. You can learn a little more about Kevin (aka Mr. Oneness) at his blog.

Jeremy Barber

Blue 2002 Horizon 2007

Jeremy BarberJack-of-all-Trades, he can play just about any instrument. Jeremy’s voice appears on the song F**ked Up on the unreleased album Blue (from 2002). He joined the band as our drummer in 2002. Jeremy Barber has been involved in the Colorado music scene for years in such bands as: Free Radt (with his wife Katz), SPIV, Riddlehouse, SOFA, and The Jeremy Barber Orchestra. Jeremy teaches various instruments and spends a large amount of time recording and arranging music.

You can check out his other band (Free Radt) at their MySpace Band Page, or grab the album at CD Baby. I should mention that I [Chris] recorded most of the album for them, but they had it mastered at a local Denver studio…

Erik AmerikaBaritone guitar, guitar, vocals, and keyboards. One of the founders of the Beckament Band, he left to persue other creative interests in 2000 shortly after recording the album Blue.

He is a talented artist, musician, and videographer and has produced much art and music with the band. He did the artwork for earlier versions of this site as well as the first 4 album covers. Check out the old beckament.com flash animation that Erik made (years ago).

Erik is also a talented videographer and edited our one music video (the the song Great escape), you can watch it here.

Crystal D.

F**ked Up 2000

Vocals on 2000 CD release F**ked Up. Her rock and roll style and creative songwriting added depth and character to the album. Unfortunately she had to leave the band shortly after the album was finished and was not able to perform with the band.

She is so mysterious that even the band does not know her last name… So if your name is Crystal and you used to be in our band, you should email us (we miss you)!

Nate S.

F**ked Up 2000

An actual award winning drummer (well, he won a drum contest…). Nate’s energetic style is apparent on much of the album F**ked Up including Quick5, Hodering, and Y_Ung. Nate’s drumming is exceptionally good on the song Quick5…

I regret that we kind of ran him off and that we treated him more as a replacement drummer than part of the band. -Chris
